Ahhh, the baby goats... and, lambs, too!!
The goats are now about 2 weeks old, but don't loook much bigger or different than when they were 2 days old. The lambs are less than a week old.
Oh, I am in heaven.










These 2 are twins. There mother died after a horribly troubled and painful birth. They ahve perservered through the students' and doctors' care and bottle feeding milk from another mother goat who gave birth at the same time. They have obviously grown quite well, regardless of their hardships. The one on the right is affectionately called Jerry G (for Jerry Garcia). He was named by a student and little Jerry seems to be convinced that we students are is mamas. :) He especially is attracted to Jen, who is the one I think named him. She is trying to convince her husband that they should adopt him and she WON'T bring him inside the house.... at least not immediately, she says. :)


This is Hermes. He's an adult. Totally awesome. He follows you and nibbles on you. So cool. So gentle.
